Wife Hides Under The Bed To See If Her Husband Is Faithful, But Hears Something Very Unexpected

A wife decided to test her husband’s loyalty by tricking him while hiding under their bed, only to get the shock of her life when the setup was finally over.

After many years of faithful marriage, the wife decided one day to test her husband’s loyalty by pulling an elaborate prank on him.

The test began with the wife writing a letter to her husband saying that she wanted to leave him. She planned it for weeks, thinking over every detail of the letter so that every word counted.

In the letter, the woman told her husband that she felt the love between them had died and that their relationship was at the end of the line. She reflected on every detail of their marriage – the good and the bad.

After the letter was done, Boredom Therapy reported, the wife put it on their bed and hid underneath.

She thought that she’d be able to get a sense of how her husband really felt about her by hiding under the bed and witnessing the letter being read.

The wife waited for a long time before her husband finally came home and found the letter. He began reading it out loud, then made a phone call and laughed to a friend about how glad he was that his marriage was over. The wife was devastated to hear just how her husband truly felt about her.

Devastated, the wife waited until her husband left the house and then came out from under the bed. When she emerged, she saw a letter on the bed that wasn’t hers. Thinking it was a goodbye letter, she began to read it slowly and hesitantly.

“Dear wife,” the letter read. The wife took several minutes to read past the first two words, terrified of what was to come.

“The next time you’re going to try to trick me into proving my love, make sure your feet aren’t sticking out from under the bed.”

The lesson in the story is a simple one – if you love someone and trust that they love you, don’t test it. You might end up being the butt of a joke. The story quickly went viral, with many readers expressing mixed reactions at the wife’s actions.

“Ridiculous is what this is,” one Shared reader commented on the site’s Facebook.

  • “Not funny weird and cruel,” another wrote.
  • “Extremely immature stunt,” another added.

9-Year-Old Sees Unlit Flag, Takes Action

An unlit American flag at the National Guard Armory in Lorain, Ohio, prompted one 9-year-old girl to action, touching the hearts of many nationwide.

“We hear a lot about kids today not caring and being stuck to their phones and TV,” Army Lt. Col. Bob Vagnier said, The Chronicle reports. “And we’ve been trying to get that light fixed for a while, but one letter from Zoey and it was done in 24 hours.”

It all began after Zoey Pol’s 13-year-old brother, Ayden, noticed the unlit flag in late 2016, 9-year-old Zoey made a mental note to keep an eye on it, reports The Morning Journal. Yet as weeks passed by, the girl grew increasingly concerned that nobody was doing anything about the flag.

“It was bothering her,” said Zoey’s father, Brad Pol, whose own father worked for the National Guard. “She was taught proper flag etiquette at McKinley Elementary School last year and when she told me about it, I suggested she write a letter.”

So, she took matters into her own hands by writing a letter all by herself notifying Lorain City Hall about the unlit flag about a month later.

“I didn’t see the letter,” her father, Brad, said. “I knew about it. She said, ‘I need an envelope.’ I gave her an envelope. She wrote the letter and she asked me for a stamp. So I gave her the stamp.”

At first, her father thought nothing would come of it. Yet, much to their surprise, that letter ended up in the hands of deputy auditor Kitty Koziura, who contacted Zoey and forwarded the information on.

The next thing they knew, a week later they had received a handwritten note from Sgt. 1st Class Andrew J. Harlan.

“It was quite impressive, I thought,” Zoey’s Dad said.

In the letter, Harlan thanked Zoey and assured her they would repair it — but that’s not all.

Harlan also invited the girl to shake hands with each of the 102 National Guard soldiers at a Feb. 5 ceremony. There, the girl received a camouflage hat and a challenge coin, while her brother was awarded a hat for noticing the unlit flag in the first place.

“I was pretty enamored; I was so proud,” her father said. “I didn’t know that they were going to treat this this way. So it was definitely a treat.”
