20167

First Lady Melania Trump responded to those who claimed last week that she and President #Donald Trump have separate bedrooms.

US Weekly reported that the wife of the president doesn’t share the same bedroom with her husband on those rare occasions when they are in the same location. One source was explicit and said they never spend the night together.

The source went on to say that Melania is absolutely miserable. Of course, The first lady’s camp has denied these allegations and called them fictional.

Melania’s response

A spokesperson for the first lady said that it is unfortunate that people report fictional accounts with unnamed sources. However, it is common knowledge that the couple has been living apart since January when Donald Trump first became the President of the United States.

The husband and wife do live about 200 miles away from each other during the week. He lives in the White House in Washington, D.C. during the week while she and 11-year-old Barron live in Trump Tower in New York.

Donald Trump has slept in the White House only one weekend since he became president. The first weekend he slept there.

For 12 consecutive weekends he has been in his home in Florida at Mar-a-Lago. The trips have cost taxpayers $3 million each time.

Relationship expert

When the reports were spread on social media last week, there were many comments made about the couple’s sleeping pattern whether fictional or true.

Relationship expert, Madeline Mason, says if the rumor is true, it might not be a bad thing. She tells the Independent that sleep experts recommend it if both parties are in agreement with the arrangements.

So whatever arrangement President Donald Trump, 70, and First Lady #Melania Trump, 46, have, they must be fine with it.

The bottom line is whether they sleep in separate rooms or in #Separate Beds, it doesn’t have anything to do with the way they are running the country.
