Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton was the recipient of a standing ovation when she visited Broadway’s Palace Theatre to watch “Sunset Boulevard” (video below).

Clinton visited Broadway for the second time in a month on Feb. 15, Playbill reported. This time, she went to see Glenn Close in “Sunset Boulevard.”

Clinton arrived at the theater shortly before the show started. She was recognized by several attendees, and the crowd began cheering.

As the lights dimmed, signaling the start of the show, the audience was asked to quiet down. One attendee reportedly shouted, “We love you, Hillary,” causing the crowd to applaud again.

During intermission, Clinton shook hands and took photos with several people. She received another round of applause at the end, as well.

Clinton had previously attended the final performance of “The Color Purple” on Jan. 8 and “In Transit” on Feb. 1.

Clinton has kept a low profile since losing to President Donald Trump in the 2016 presidential election.

She made her first public appearance after her loss at a charity gala, NBC News reported.

“I know many of you are deeply disappointed about the results of the election,” she told the crowd at the Children’s Defense Fund gala. “I am too, more than I can ever express.

“There have been a few times this past week when all I wanted to do is just to curl up with a good book or our dogs and never leave the house again.”

“Service is the rent we pay for living,” Clinton added. “You don’t get to stop paying rent just because things didn’t go your way.”
