In a 2000 video released May 2, current U.S. President Donald Trump appears to ogle Spice Girl Emma Bunton while being interviewed on the red carpet before the VH1 Fashion Rocks party (video below).

During the interview released by The Independent, Bunton and fellow interviewer Victoria Beckham take turns asking Mr. Trump questions about his wardrobe choices as Melania Trump, who was then only his girlfriend, stands next to him. Mr. Trump appears to take a good look at the backside of Bunton’s dress.

Bunton seems initially startled by the brazen glance, admonishing the business mogul with, “Donald!” before covering the low-cut neckline of her dress with her hand. Bunton is best known as “Baby Spice” of the pop-music group The Spice Girls.

Beckham and Bunton then ask “who” Mr. Trump was wearing that evening, to which he admits he has no idea.

“For me, it’s not so important,” he tells Beckham. “For the women, it’s important.”

Beckham and Bunton then ask Melania about her wardrobe choice, complimenting the style and look. They ask Mr. Trump who he will be sitting with that evening, and he responded, “I’m sitting with Melania tonight.”

Before the interview, Beckham and Bunton commented that Mr. Trump “looks like a banker” and that he wasn’t at all in style. “But God,” Beckham continues, “he’s rich, so we’ll interview him anyway.”

Mr. Trump married Melania in 2005.

He has a history of making lewd comments about women while on the air, with some of his more famous sound bites unearthed during the 2016 presidential campaign.

In 1997, Mr. Trump was interviewed by syndicated radio host Howard Stern about his relationship with the late Princess Diana of Wales, who was killed in a car accident shortly before the interview was conducted.

Stern and Mr. Trump discuss the possibility that the billionaire could have slept with Diana if she were still alive.

“Why do people think it’s egotistical of you to say you could’ve gotten with Lady Di?” Stern asked him in the interview obtained by BuzzFeed and reported by The Independent.

“You could’ve gotten her, right? You could’ve nailed her,” said Stern. Mr. Trump replied: “I think I could have,” citing a “warm” letter that he claimed Diana had written to him.

Stern conducted several interviews with the real-estate mogul during the show’s running, with many such interviews devolving into vulgar topics involving women.

Trump seemed willing to participate in many hypothetical scenarios involving a “would you/wouldn’t you” game of sexual relations with celebrities, according to BuzzFeed.

Trump recently crossed the 100-day threshold of his presidency.
