Couple Can’t Pay Restaurant Bill, Waitress Falls To Her Knees Upon Realizing Their Plan

Restaurant wait staff are some of the most underappreciated and underpaid people on the planet. As you can probably imagine, it’s not an easy job having to please customers every single minute of the day.

Working for tips can sometimes make it seem like you’re working for peanuts. Wait staff’s feet will ache from being on them for hours upon hours.

Chelsea Roff is a waitress who works at Spring St. Smokehouse and although she always has a smile on her face, sometimes a customer can make her cry, especially when they tell her why she’s not getting a tip. If anyone deserves a break, it’s Chelsea.

This young woman has raised her sister since she was a little girl, she’s battled with an eating disorder and she even runs a non-profit organization that helps others overcome their own eating disorders through the practice of yoga. Although Chelsea struggles financially, you can tell by her glowing expression that she is truly a happy person on the inside.

Chelsea even maintained her composure when a couple politely told her that they only had just enough money to pay for their meal, with nothing leftover for her. Even though she relies on tips to pay the bills, she showed this couple compassion for their predicament.

Yet when the couple offered Chelsea an incredible alternative to a cash tip, she was stunned! Earlier in the day, someone else had left a surprise wad of cash on her table, which she instantly wanted to split with all of her coworkers.

Chelsea didn’t know what was going on with her customers that day! We’ve all heard of the concept of “paying it forward.”

Well, this is a positive prank that is paying it forward to Chelsea in more ways than one. She lost it when the truth unraveled before her eyes.

Watch the video below to see Chelsea have the best shift ever!

Guy Recognizes Something About Waitress, Then Shows What’s In His Pocket

A man took his son out to dinner when he noticed there was something oddly familiar about the waitress. His post about what happened is going viral.

Sean Whalen learned at a young age how traumatic a bitter divorce can be. After his parents had an intense fight, he remembered coming home with his mother and his little brother to find that their father had changed the locks. The family was left to fend for themselves from that moment on.

Whalen is now a singe parent himself, and understands now more than ever what it took for his mother to raise him and his brother, according to LittleThings.

One night, Whalen took his son to a Chinese restaurant for dinner. While eating, Whalen, through small talk, learned their waitress was a single mother.

While the father and son continued their meal, Whalen began to feel there was something strangely familiar about the waitress — she reminded him very much of his mother. Whalen decided he wanted to do something special before he left the restaurant that day. He left her a $100 cash tip.

  • Whalen wrote a touching post, which was shared on the Love What Matters Facebook page:
  • The day my parents split up is forever etched in my mind.
  • Me and dad get into a big fight.
  • Me, mom and my little brother take off cause my dad is going nuts.

We stayed at a hotel that night.

When we came back the next day my dad had changed the locks.

I watched my mom plead with him through the door to let us in to get clothes etc.

He wouldn’t.We had to go back later that day with a police escort.

I’ll never forget the cops handing me a black trash bag saying I had 10 minutes to take the necessities.

How To Remove Waste From Your Colon Quickly and Safely – Recipe

Your colon does execute (or should I say excretes) the most obvious of responsibilities, however, it also plays a larger role in the overall health of your body.

Not only does your colon discharge waste from your body, it also ensures that toxins, pesticides and other harmful chemicals leave your body with said excrement! It is an extremely important part of your body’s elimination and detoxification process – not something you want to neglect.

When your colon isn’t functioning properly, your body holds on to these toxins longer than usual, exposing your body to potential illness. These toxins sit stagnant in your malfunctioning colon until they are absorbed into the walls of your colon and then your bloodstream.

The importance of your colon is pretty clear now, isn’t it?

Let’s consider the amount of processed foods, refined sugars, additives and chemicals our body is exposed to on a daily basis. This puts a huge burden on your colon to get rid of these toxins at an orderly, and efficient rate! If you’re not regular, you could be susceptible to harmful bacteria.

Feeling Tired, Bloated, and Gassy?

We are constantly fighting against environmental toxins, as well as all of the toxins we eat, drink, and put on our body, it’s often helpful to give our liver and digestive system a little bit of a break in order to press the reset button and get things moving regularly once again.

Do you have any of the following symptoms?

  • Bloating
  • Gas
  • Diarrhea
  • Indigestion
  • Fatigue
  • Frequent loose stools
  • Irregular bowel movements (or less than 1 bowel movement/day)

If you have more than one of the above symptoms, you may want to take this quiz to see if you might need a more intensive detox program or not:

A detox program is also great way to help identify what foods may be triggering your digestive issues, as well as give your system a break while supporting your organs of elimination (your colon included!).

8 Early Warning Signs You’ll Have One Month Before A Heart Attack

In the year 2013 alone, at least 33 percent of all deaths in the United States were caused by heart related issues.

Strokes, cardiovascular diseases and heart disease are silent killers. These ailments are also the leading causes of death around the world and when we are on the cusp of experiencing a heart attack, the body has a way of letting us know.

There are eight signs that you need to be paying attention to, as they are your body’s way of warning you.

If you are having pain in your shoulders, back or arms, this is a major red flag and a sign that you need to contact a medical professional right away. Unusual body weakness is another sign, as this is an indicator of poor blood circulation and your arteries may have narrowed.

Frequent dizziness is another bad sign. If blood is no longer flowing through the body in the normal manner, your brain functionality is adversely affected.

Cold sweats and clamminess are also something to look out for. These are signs that the body has become overly stressed and you will need to find out more about the specific ailments that you are experiencing.

Mom Posts Video Of 4-Year-Old Daughter Breastfeeding. When People Insult Her, She Fires Back

Leanne Allerton is a mother and YouTuber. She has been pretty transparent about breastfeeding all four of her kids. Her latest video, featuring Leanne breastfeeding her 4-year-old daughter Poppy, has gotten almost 1 million views.

“I post breastfeeding videos when I feel like talking about things, because there will always be someone out there who is going through the same thing,” Leanne explained to Daily Mail. “You get a lot of nice suggestions but also a lot of abuse — those I tend to block and delete.”

While many are supportive, some of the comments have called Leanne “sickening” or a “slut,” saying her girl Poppy is too old to breastfeed. Leanna also continues to breastfeed her son, who is 5 years old.

“People say to me that Poppy relies on me too much, but it is not about that,” she said. “It’s our time, and it benefits her. It is just our routine and our life, and it’s just the way it is.”

Leanne believes that breastfeeding should stop when the child is old enough to understand what is happening. She offers her older son, Georgie, as an example.

“With Georgie, I just spoke with him, explaining he was becoming a big boy, and it was time for him to stop,” she said. “But I will miss it when Poppy and I completely stop.”

Regardless of how you feel, the American Academy of Pediatrics believes breastfeeding toddlers is fine. They recommend that the mother and child breastfeed until they decide to stop, so, in this regard, every family will be different.

“It’s completely appropriate that a mother should avail herself to her infant or toddler,” Dr. Lori Winter, of the American Academy of Pediatrics told ABC News. “That’s in no way damaging to the child.”

What do you think of breastfeeding children as old as 5 years old?

They Notice Object Coming Out Of Their Baby’s Neck, Baffled By Doctor’s Diagnosis

Aaron and Emma Washington noticed their young child had an unsightly pimple on the side of her face.

They thought it would go away on it’s own and decided to ignore it. Being new parents was hard enough work as it was and they didn’t need another things like this stressing them out.

But as they tried to ignore the weird pimple-like growth on the side of their baby’s face, it just kept growing larger and larger.

They knew that something was wrong. And luckily they decided to take their seven month-old to the doctor…

By the time the growth on the side of their infant’s face had swollen to the size of a golf ball, her parents knew they had made a mistake. They shouldn’t have ignored the weird thing for that long.

To right their wrong, which they said was due to the ignorance of being new parents, they rushed the little girl to the doctor. But the professional had never seen anything like it before.

While at first the doctor simply diagnosed the bump as a simple infection, it wasn’t long before everyone realized this wasn’t anything ordinary.

It was something much weirder than just an infection on the side of the girl’s face. And it most certainly was not a pimple or blocked pore.

The doctor decided he needed to do something before things got worse and baby got blood poisoning or something deadly.

He pinched the white thing that poked out of the girl’s face and the doctor started to pull.

Woman Wants To Be So Fat She Can’t Move…

We all know that we need to watch what we eat. The average woman should consume no more than 2000 calories per day.

Despite this fact, many of us get carried away when it comes to our eating habits.

When you notice that you’re piling on the pounds, the sensible thing to do is make sure that you adapt your lifestyle and become as healthy as possible.

Sadly, that is not what all of us do. In fact, some people purposely try to put on as much weight as possible.

It might sound bizarre, but there is one model out there who’s sole aim is to somehow become the heaviest lady alive.

Monica Riley, from Fort Worth, Texas, is a 27-year-old who loves nothing more than gaining weight.

She might already weigh a massive 700lbs, but she doesn’t want to stop there. Oh no! Instead, she is hoping that she will gain enough weight to be crowned the world’s fattest woman.

She Gives Leftovers To Homeless Family. Then Mom Says Something That Leaves Her STUNNED

When Kim Colvin from Birmingham, Alabama, decided she wanted some roast beef for dinner, she forgot she was just cooking for one. “Ever since the boys got grown and I live on my own,” she said, “I really don’t know how to cook small anymore.”

She cooked up a feast fit for a king: roast beef, a vegetable medley, macaroni and cheese, green beans, corn muffins, and corn on the cob.

The next day, when she went to heat up some of her leftovers, she realized she would never be able to eat all of that food by herself. Instead of throwing it out, she decided she would make up some plates and give the extra food out to the homeless.

She ended up making 11 plates of food and then loaded them in her car and headed to the park to pass them out. What happened next left her so overwhelmed that she went back to her car and recorded a video about her experience, which is now going viral.

She said she walked up to a gazebo where a woman was sitting with three kids. One of the girls started tapping her mom on the leg and, when she looked up, Kim saw that there were tears streaming down her face.

The woman told her that she didn’t have any money or any place to go, and she had just been praying and asking God to provide some food so she could at least feed her children, even if not herself.

That was the exact moment Kim walked up to her. As the woman was asking God to provide, she looked up and saw Kim standing there with plates of food for her and her kids. Kim knows it was God who put it on her heart to share her food with the homeless, putting her in the exact right place at the exact right time.

“To see the tears and how grateful she was, I was just outdone,” Kim said. “I was just at home – that didn’t even cross my mind. God put it on my heart…[to not] throw this food away.”

“This how I know God is real!!!”

Strange Man Follows Age 12 Boy to Car at McDonald’s and Jumps In. Off-Duty Cop Hears Screams and Knows

It was supposed to be a fun trip to Disney World for a family of three visiting out of town, but it soon turned into a trip of terror. If it wasn’t for one attentive police officer, one little boy’s life may have changed forever.

On Monday night, a father and his two sons were involved in a squabble at a McDonald’s in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. While one of the sons, a 12-year-old boy, was inside using the restroom, the dad and brother waited outside in their vehicle.

Apparently, one of the customers had his eyes on the child the entire time. The strange man followed the young boy to his car, and that’s when the altercation ensued.

Old school McDonald's, New Smyrna Beach

Posted by Keith Daily on Sunday, August 2, 2015

The terrified kid quickly opened the car door and jumped in the backseat to get away from the guy. Suddenly, the crazed man was tugging at the boy and trying to snatch him out of the vehicle.

Off-duty Daytona Beach cop,Troy Belden, was waiting in the drive-thru line when he witnessed the attempted kidnap. He knew something terrible was happening when the dad jumped in to fight the man off his son.

“It’s like he did a Superman dive into the passenger seat, trying to get to the children,” Belden said about the perpetrator, later identified as 54-year-old Robert Sawyer. “Once they started screaming, I jumped in.”

Belden left his car and ran over to the fight. He identified himself as a police officer, but that’s when Sawyer tried to leave the scene.

Posted by News 6 WKMG / ClickOrlando on Monday, May 1, 2017

“I grabbed him by the shirt and he tried to run away from me at that time, so I brought him to the ground,” Belden recalled.

The boy’s father also helped by running to grab the officer’s handcuffs, and soon Sawyer was apprehended.

Belden couldn’t understand why the man was behaving in such a “bizarre” manner, though he had a narcotics pipe in his possession at the time of the attack. Additionally, investigators later determined that a woman was waiting for Sawyer in his vehicle, but quickly drove away.

Cops plan to seek more information from the lady, but they have already charged Sawyer with “kidnapping/confinement of a child, possession of narcotics paraphernalia, and burglary.” Unfortunately, he was released from jail on a $55,500 bail and is back at home.

One Facebook user was disappointed at the fact that Sawyer is back on the streets again. This was his comment on WOFL-TV’s post of the story: “Why bond so he can do this to some other [children] I still don’t understand the court’s I am sure the police don’t ether.”

Well, we can only hope that the local police department will continue to keep a watchful eye on this guy. Belden has definitely done his part saving a child from abduction and bringing forth yet another alleged kidnapper. It’s a good thing he “was at the right place at the right time.”

Hungry Mom In McDonald’s Breaks Down In Tears After Reading Anonymous 12-Word Note.

As we’ve seen time and time again, an act of kindness has the power to change a life. Sometimes it’s a random act of kindness– like the time a stranger left $100 in a Redbox DVD for an unsuspecting family to find– and sometimes, its a well-planned sacrificial act of kindness– as the time Amy Grant’s daughter donated her kidney to her best friend.

For the person in the story below, the opportunity to extend kindness presented itself in a McDonald’s alongside a refill of Sprite.

It all started when the anonymous writer telling story observed a hungry woman buying a Happy Meal for her son. She had to dig from between the cushions of her car to pay for it and didn’t have any money to get food for herself.

That’s when our narrator stepped in with a gift and some encouraging advice: “Keep your head up and always push forward, You CAN. You WILL.”

Cop Nearly Loses Life After Eating At Taco Bell, Investigation Reveals Disgusting Truth

There have been some interesting lawsuits in the past where people have claimed fast food restaurant wrongdoings, but this is totally new territory. Oklahoma City police officer Shawn Byrne is suing Taco Bell, claiming that his steak quesadilla was laced with cologne and spicy chipotle.

He suffered severe burns in his throat as a result. Byrne and his wife, Amanda, visited a local Taco Bell in February, where he ordered the steak quesadilla and soda at the drive-thru window.

NewsOK reports that the officer claims in the lawsuit: “After the person at the window took his order, he went over to two men employees and said something to them. They all looked over at him and started laughing. A few minutes later, the order taker brought his order and said he was sorry for the delay.”

Byrne said his “tongue, throat and the roof of his mouth began burning” after his third bite of the food.

According to the lawsuit, Byrne visited a hospital the next morning when his mouth and eye were still burning, where doctors discovered “burned spots on his throat.” As a result of the burns, the officer had to take more than 127 hours of sick leave from his job and he missed an additional 68 hours of extra scheduled jobs.

Two weeks after the alleged incident at Taco Bell, Byrne developed appendicitis which required surgery. Doctors reportedly said the spicy food could have caused the appendicitis. Byrne had the remainder of the quesadilla tested and the food was found to contain cologne and a “high concentration of pepper,” according to the lawsuit.

After Byrne reported the incident, the Oklahoma City Police investigated, finding that two of the three Taco Bell employees who handled the officer’s order have criminal backgrounds.
Additionally, the lawsuit states that surveillance video showed the packaging for Byrne’s food was dropped on the floor and the employee continued with the order, “picking it up, and nevertheless putting his food in it and handing it to him.”

Byrne and his wife are seeking more than $75,000 in damages.

Bryne’s attorney noted: “The Department of Agriculture said there was an extremely hot pepper sauce on the sandwich and there was cologne in the sandwich also,” adding, “Shawn does not wear cologne.”

People commenting on the story wondered why better background checks aren’t in place, noting: “Taco Bell as a whole is not to blame for this incident, but their managers need to have strict guidelines as to who they hire and those hires need to be thoroughly checked out. When an entity feeds the public the people who work there should be on the up and up without question.”

Another wondered what happened with the employees, commenting: “Hope they lost there jobs with no pay. Sorry for police officers but shame on these people and taco bell.” Another person echoed this, but hoped for more severe punishment: “I don’t give a damn how much you hate someone don’t mess with their food. The person that prepared his food needs to go to jail.”

4-Year-Old Girl Runs Out Of Public Bathroom Crying, Then Mom Sees What’s On Her Legs

A 4-year-old girl was the victim of a cruel prank in a McDonald’s bathroom that left her with skin torn from her legs. Nicole Langmead was with her children at McDonald’s when her daughter Kaya needed to go use the bathroom.

The mother waited a while for her daughter, and soon grew worried about how long she was taking. It was then that Kaya came out of the bathroom in pain — explaining that she had been stuck to the toilet seat.

What happened before Kaya went into the bathroom ultimately clued her mother in as to what happened to her.

“I was waiting outside the toilets with my two daughters for quite a long time,” Langmead told Daily Mail.

“We were just about to give up when these two girls came out of the bathroom laughing. They were probably in their early teens. I didn’t think too much of it and Kaya went into the toilet. A short while later she came out in tears and told me that she had become stuck to the seat.”

Langmead found superglue adhesive spread all over the toilet seat that her daughter used — an adhesive so strong that it ripped the skin from her legs.

It was later revealed that the two teen girls, who police said were behind the prank, were between the ages of 16 and 18 years old.

McDonald’s Employee Fired After Officer Sees Something Yellow In Drink, Realizes What It Is

An employee has been fired from a Kansas McDonald’s after two police officers said they were served soda mixed with mustard.

Kansas GOING BLUE, a Facebook group, first posted a photo of the laced drink on Nov. 27, saying: “A McDonald’s here in Kansas just served a Law Enforcement Officer on duty a Dr Pepper with Mustard in a drive thru order. This is extremely unacceptable!!”

The District Attorney’s office is opening a criminal investigation into the matter, and the individual accused of putting the mustard in the officers’ drinks has been removed from the store, reports KSNT.

One Kansas Highway Patrol trooper had a similar experience once before at the same McDonald’s location in Topeka, Kansas, in which they were also served a soft drink with mustard in it, the highway patrol said.

According to location supervisor Gary Vaughn, management had already handled the incident internally.

He did not specify beyond that, though the franchise’s owners provided more information in a statement in which they said that they were “shocked at the isolated actions of a single employee.”

“All customers, including local law enforcement officers who protect and serve our communities, are always welcome at our restaurants,” Tom and Marilyn Dobski of McDonald’s Franchisees in Topeka explained in the statement, according to KSNT.

“Immediately upon learning of this complaint, we began our own internal investigation to gather the facts … This employee no longer works for our organization.

We proudly support police officers and all divisions of first responders at our restaurants across northeast Kansas.”

As the dynamic between police and civilians remains tense across the nation, this is just one of many reports from officers that fast food employees are tampering with their orders.

In August, an 18-year-old Subway worker was arrested in Utah after allegedly lacing a police sergeant’s soft drink with methamphetamine and THC, causing the officer to become incapacitated while driving, notes KSTU.

Doctor’s Everywhere Issue Warning About New And Dangerous Marijuana Trend

A deadly new version of marijuana is showing up across the country, and it has doctors terrified.

The new marijuana trend, called dabbing, has four times the amount of THC found in regular marijuana, according to Your Nation News.

LA Weekly describes dabbing as the “flash vaporization” of marijuana concentrate. It results in a high that lasts only a few minutes, but it can cause extreme anxiety and paranoia — and can even lead to addiction.

While marijuana advocates say the regular version of the drug is not physically addictive, dabbing is a different story, according to Dr. Michael Miller of Rogers Memorial Hospital in Wisconsin.

“Addiction is a bio-psycho-social-spiritual disease,” Miller, former president of the American Society of Addiction Medicine, told LA Weekly.

“If you have a predisposition for addiction, the more potent rewards are more likely to kick in the addictive process in the brain. Very strong exposures to very intense rewards triggers a preoccupation and craving and cues to use again. That results in addiction.”

Many readers expressed skepticism toward the concern, arguing that dabbing does not present any real danger.

“This is a joke,” one Newsiosity reader wrote on the site’s Facebook page. “Nobody dies from dabs. People injure themselves or die from making the wax or concentrate to smoke. I love how he said one dab is like 5 joints … idiots. 5 joints is nothing to some people. The danger in dabbing is not dabbing itself it’s making the wax, shatter or whatever you want to call it.”

“Wax isn’t made with butane anymore,” another Facebook user added. “It’s made with c02. It’s literally just contentrated THC. For experienced high dosed patients. also, the body produces endocannabinoids and has receptor site specifically for THC. with wax being like 60+ % THC it’s pretty difficult to develope a tolerance to it. You cannot die unless you blow yourself up making some nasty ghetto wax. Educate thineselves.”

“This is the worst misinformation I have ever seen on this subject,” a Your Nation News reader wrote in response to the story. “First off, butane is a cheap easy way to make them but it isn’t the only way and the other ways are much safer. So not all wax contains butane.

If you buy it off the street it might because you dont know exactly what you’re getting. And hitting one dab IS NOT the equivalent of smoking 5 joints at once. And it only causes psychosis with a very small number of users, mostly new users. … Back to the butane.

Butane is dangerous all by itself and is also legal to buy and while it has a number of legal uses, many choose to abuse it also, in many different ways too.

So yes, please talk to your children about all substances and the risks involved, but be truthful. And quit trying to scare people with propaganda that either isn’t true at all or is a small bit of truth peppered with lies.”

Others sided with the doctors, supporting the assertion that dabbing is dangerous.

“Sorry all you pothead users and supporters but this article and the panel of doctors speaking in the video are 100% spot on accurate,” another Your Nation News reader commented.

“Some of us in the fields of emergency medicine, law enforcement and medicolegal death investigation see this shit all the time and know facts and evidence. There’s a reason marijuana is in the drug classification it is in.”

Dunkin’ Donuts Employee Drains Dish Rag In Officer’s Coffee, Laughs With Coworkers, Still Employed

A Coral Springs police FOP is warning south Florida cops to avoid a Dunkin’ Donuts where one of their officers had two awful experiences.

According to the Coral Springs FOP Lodge 87, after the officer ordered a cup of coffee she noticed an employee ‘sneering’ at her as he placed her coffee on the counter.

After one sip, the officer immediately noticed a strong soap taste in the coffee as if the employee had rung out a dish rag into her drink.

Perhaps hoping she was mistaken or that it was somehow an accident, the officer returned a few days later.

This time, the same employee was working and she noticed they were pretending to spit in the officer’s coffee as two other employees laughed and handed the cup to the officer. The officer left without the coffee.

Dunkin’ Donuts is ‘investigating’ the incident, but the offending employee is still working at the store.

85-Year-Old Homeless Man Arrested After Starbucks Employees See What Was On His Phone

An 85-year-old man was arrested after employees at an Atlanta-area Starbucks found pornographic images of children on a cellphone he accidentally left behind.

Carl Alfred Iverson left the phone at a Starbucks in Marietta, Georgia, on Sept. 23. According to a warrant, when employees went through his phone to find contact information, they discovered child pornography.

Police were called, and Iverson, who is homeless, was brought in for questioning when he returned to retrieve his phone, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

Officers obtained a search warrant and discovered eight pornographic images of children on the cellphone. One picture depicted a 6-year-old boy performing sexual acts with an adult male, East Cobb Patch reports.

In April, Iverson pleaded guilty to a computer pornography charge after he attempted to seduce an undercover detective who was posing as a 14-year-old girl online last year. He was sentenced to 30 days in jail and 10 years probation.

Iverson was placed on the sex offender registry and agreed to stop using the internet, unless he was under direct supervision and only paying bills or dealing with the VA, court documents say.

Iverson is being held in the Cobb County Jail without bond on eight charges of sexual exploitation of children.

Toddler Says Mouth Tastes ‘Yucky,’ Then Mom Sees What Employee Did To Her

Taking your kid out to eat can be a nice little treat for both mom and child. But when Dezeray Risner took her four-year-old to Wendy’s for a meal, she had no idea that a simple day out with her daughter would turn into such a nightmare.

Risner and her daughter hadn’t been eating for long when her daughter began complaining that her mouth tastes “yucky”.

She was starting to feel strange, and said the fries didn’t taste good. Risner couldn’t figure out what the problem was at first,

but after she looked a little more closely at her food, she discovered that one of the employees had laced her daughter’s food with drugs.

Risner smelled the french fries, and could smell the marijuana. She broke apart a few of the fries, and realized that her hunch was correct: marijuana leaves and stems had been baked right into the fries.

Furious, Risner immediately took pictures to document the drugs. She then called the police, before notifying the manager of what had happened.

However, the manager took absolutely no accountability for the horrifying incident.

Instead of launching some kind of investigation, the manager merely replied that because there were no surveillance cameras in the kitchen, there was no way to conclusively prove who had put the drugs in her food.

Several employees did admit to smoking pot, but the manager didn’t fire them, even though Wendy’s is presumably a drug-free workplace.

Police officers are still investigating the incident, but it’s unlikely that the culprit will be caught,

meaning that they could continue to victimize other innocent customers. As for Risner, her daughter will thankfully make a full recovery.

But the fact that something like this could happen at Wendy’s, with a manager who refused to take any action over it, should make a lot of people think twice before they eat there again.

Walmart Expands Recall, Now Includes Dozens More Frozen Food Items. Here’s An Official List

If you’ve bought any frozen food at Walmart over the past year, you need to stop everything and check your freezer now. The giant retailer along with other sellers have been forced to issue another recall – and this one is downright terrifying.

From frozen peas to mixed vegetables, Walmart has been forced to warn their customers about the food products coming from National Frozen Foods Corporation.

These items were found to be potentially tainted with listeria. And now the Food and Drug Administration is cracking down on Walmart and other sellers. Demanding that they warn their customers about the potentially harmful items stored in millions of freezers across America.

Below you’ll find the complete list of food items that you need to either throw away or return for a full refund. Let me reiterate, do not use any frozen foods bought from Walmart until reviewing this list. And if your family members shop at Walmart, too, send this list to them immediately.

  • The potentially tainted food products were sold between September 2, 2015, and June 2, 2016.

While the warning is coming very late, especially considering that many people eat these products within weeks of purchasing them because they are frozen vegetables they still could be in your freezer.

Police Officer Bites Down On Sandwich, Suddenly Feels Sharp Pain And Blood Pouring Out Of Mouth

An Ohio police officer was reportedly hospitalized after biting into a sandwich that had several shards of glass in it.

The incident occurred on July 18 at a local restaurant in Columbus, WSYX/WTTE reports. The officer bit into his sandwich and felt a strange texture and heard a crunching sound, police officials said.

He looked inside the sandwich and saw the glass shards. When the officer checked his mouth, he realized he was bleeding. He was taken to Grant Medical Center and was held overnight. Investigators said he is expected to be alright.

The restaurant was shut down while assault squad investigators conducted interviews. It is not clear at this time if the incident was intentional or accidental.

No charges have been filed at this time, and the names of the restaurant and police officer have not yet been released.

Don’t Throw Away Your Teabags. Here’s 10 Reasons Why You Should Plant Them Instead

Ending your day with a relaxing cup of warm tea is a great way to make drifting off into la-la land a little easier. When most people finish their tea, they toss the used teabag into the trash with little thought. After all, what could you possibly do with a used teabag?

It turns out, there’s actually quite a few things you can do with used tea bags, especially in the garden. Keep reading to learn why you might want to bury those teabags instead of tossing them in the trash:

1. The bags decompose: Did you know that most British tea bags are made from a relative of the banana? Manila hemp is made from the fiber of abaca leaf stalks. The bag itself will break down and the very little plastic they use to seal the tea bags virtually disappears within 6 months, according to the UK Tea & Infusions Association.

2. Tea adds nutrients to the soil: Tea leaves contain tannic acid and nutrients that are natural fertilizers for a garden. As the tea leaves decompose, they release nutrients into the soil, creating a healthier growing environment, according to The Gardening Cook.

3. Reduce garbage: Burying your teabags in the garden or tossing them in your compost pile helps eliminate excess waste.

4. Tea bags keep pests at bay: Used tea bags (and coffee grounds) will help keep bugs away from your plants. The odor deters the pests from chewing on your flowers and veggies.

5. The smell of tea works on cats too:

Sprinkle coffee grounds or used tea grounds around your garden to keep fluffy from urinating on your favorite plants too. (You can do use this with indoor plants as well), Earth911 recommends.

6. Your teabags can grow a garden:

Believe it or not, you can grow your own garden with used teabags, seeds, a plastic tray, water and a paper towel. You’ll germinate your seeds with the tea bags and then plant them in the garden, according to the Kiwi Conservation Club.

7. Tea increases the decomposition of other items:

If you are using teabags in your soil or compost pile, the acid in the tea can speed up the decomposition process of other items in the compost bin, which means you can use the compost faster.

8. Worms eat the tea leaves: Worms can safely consume tea leaves.

Once they digest the leaves they produce a more “nutrient-rich output,” making your soil healthier for growing plants, according to VeggieGardener.

9. Teabags help with water retention: Bury your tea bags near the root of your plants, flowers, and veggies to help the plants retain more water and stay healthier.

10. Teabags help keep weeds at bay: When you bury your teabags in the garden, they can help impeded the growth of weeds (which means less work for you!).

Have you ever buried teabags? If you know someone who loves to garden, make sure to SHARE these tips with them on Facebook.

OK Foods Inc. has issued a recall for approximately 933,272 pounds of ready-to-eat chicken products that may have been contaminated with metal.

The recall comes after the Oklahoma-based company received five complaints from consumers who said they discovered metal objects in the chicken.

The metal was also found by representatives of the U.S. Department of Agriculture Food Safety and Inspection Service during quality control checks.

The USDA reports that an internal investigation determined that the contamination came from metal conveyor belts.

The affected products were produced between Dec. 19, 2016, and March 7, 2017, and were shipped to stores across the country, including Wal-Marts. They all have the code “P-7092” stamped inside the USDA mark of inspection.

The recall has been categorized as Class I, which USDA defines as follows: “This is a health hazard situation where there is a reasonable probability that the use of the product will cause serious, adverse health consequences or death.”

While there have not been any confirmed reports of people becoming sick from eating the chicken, those who purchased the recalled bags are urged to throw them away or return them to the store. Anyone who has the products should not eat them.

The chicken in question is sold under the following brand names: Smart Foods4Schools, Chickentopia, Double D Foods, Great Value (a Wal-Mart brand), TenderBird, Farmington, Lake Liner Logo Brand and Spring River Farms.

Products that have been recalled include various breaded chicken products, including nuggets of various shapes, chicken patties, chicken fries and chicken fillet fritters. Nugget shapes being recalled include hearts, stars, shamrocks, numerals, letters and sharks.

  • The products were shipped throughout the U.S.
  • OK Foods has a statement on its website about food safety:

Food safety is vital to delivering quality chicken products to our customers around the world. All OK Foods facilities are regularly inspected by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA).

And, as a full-integrated poultry processor, we have implemented food safety auditing programs across all operations to ensure our products meet and exceed food safety standards.

Anyone with questions about the recall should contact Abby Brown at 479-312-2409. Consumers can also consult FSIS’s virtual representative at “Ask Karen” is available 24 hours a day.

In April 2016, Pilgrim’s Pride recalled 4.5 million pounds of chicken products, which were also contaminated with “extraneous materials,” CNN reported.

Those chicken products also included breaded chicken patties and chicken nuggets. The materials found in those products reportedly included plastic, wood, metal and rubber.

6-Year-Old Is Excited To Show Teacher Box Mom Packed Her For Lunch, She Quickly Dials 911

Being a teacher has many pros and cons. They may not get paid as well as they’d like and they have to deal with other people’s kids all day, which isn’t always the most desirable or glamorous way to spend 40 hours of your week.

And oftentimes they have to work long after the last bell of the school day rings, cutting into their own family time. But, they get the summer months off, and they get to start fresh every single year with a new crop of students.

One of the things that could be either good or bad, is the fact that a teacher’s day is never really boring, as the variety of kids keep them on their toes.

A New York teacher’s aide was recently flabbergasted when one of her students showed up to school boasting about a white box that was packed in his lunch sack. When she opened the box to see the surprise inside, she couldn’t believe her eyes.

It wasn’t the white box that was the big event, instead, it was the heroine, glassine envelopes, and pills that were packed discretely inside the box.

The aid immediately brought the box to the principal’s attention and soon the mother was arrested for acting in a manner injurious to a child, minor drug possession, and endangering the welfare of a child. And she certainly didn’t try to hide the fact that the box was hers.

“I am the only one who prepares my son’s school bag and lunch. I use heroin. I do not shoot it, but I snort it. I could not find my box with heroin inside,” said the mother, who told police that she must have misplaced her special little white box, putting it in her son’s lunch bag by accident.

That’s one heck of a mistake to make!

And it gets worse…she admitted that it crossed her mind that she may have put the box in her son’s lunch bag, but decided not to waste time double-checking.

“I was not sure if it was in his school bag and went to sleep. I can not believe I did this.”

Shortly after the arrest, she was released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court next month.

As to be expected, commenters don’t have too much sympathy for the irresponsible mother…

“What a scumbag.  Take the kid away permanently and throw her sorry ass in jail.  Nothing but a dope head loser.”

“What shocks me is that she was released without a very high bail!  The kid could have shared the “candy pills” to his classmates!!  What an adult can take Can And HAS KILLED a child!!!  Time to “lose the key” by throwing it away – – – – oh wait, this is NY state, Elects Scubags like Schum & HC, common sense left in the early 1960’s!!!”

“It was a mistake.  She meant to pack him a PB&J not heroin.”

Obviously, this woman’s mind isn’t in the right state to be raising a child if she can’t even pack a lunch bag without ‘mistakenly’ putting her drugs in the bag. If the child decided to show it to his classmates instead of his teacher, it could’ve ended a lot differently.

He Was About To Serve Parents Their Coffee When He Saw It Sticking Out Of Their Arms, Dials 911

In Hyannis, Massachusetts, two parents were arrested after a Dunkin’ Donuts employee caught them doing something horrible. When they pulled up to the window and ordered their hot coffees, the employee couldn’t believe the sight. The parents were high on drugs, driving their kids around putting them in harm’s way.

But that’s not the worst part! After the parents were taken in, what the kids say will break your heart. The little ones admitted to authorities that they watch their parents getting high on heroin all the time – it’s the only things the parents love.

The Dunkin’ Donuts employee didn’t just assume mom was on drugs. They actually saw the needle sticking out of Tiffany Tinkham’s arm. Meanwhile, the children’s father, Lance Hillier, had passed out behind the wheel.

The employee was stunned. He couldn’t believe that he had caught these two parents getting high on heroin while driving a car through a Dunkin Donuts drive-thru. How terrible are they? The employee shouted at the man who had passed out behind the wheel.

Allegedly, Hillier only woke up after an employee yelled at him. After that, the parents ordered their items, like what they do is business as usual and drove away.

But Dunkin’ Donuts staffers wrote down the license plate number and called the police right away since the children’s lives were endangered.

Mom Packs Lunch For Baby Girl. Hours Later, She’s Sent Home With Angry Red Note

No parent wants to get an angry note from their child’s teacher, and they certainly don’t want to get one over something as tiny as a slice of chocolate cake!

Unfortunately for a mom in Australia, that’s exactly what happened. She sent her little girl to kindergarten with some chocolate cake packed in her lunch. She never expected the dramatic shaming that would come next, when the school decided her lunch choices were so unhealthy that they warranted an angry note home.

There are a lot of stories floating around these days about schools shaming parents over the silliest things, as we saw with the chronically ill mom who was called “lazy” by the school for wearing PJs to a morning drop-off.

The Australian mom had a similar experience with her daughter’s kindergarten after packing the chocolate cake for lunch. She shared her upsetting encounter with her friend Melinda Tankard Reist, a writer who has a prominent social media following. After hearing the story, Melinda quickly got the word out about this particularly unkind form of mommy shaming.

One mom in Australia got a rude reprimand from her daughter’s school after she sent her little one with a packed lunch that included a slice of chocolate cake for dessert.

The mom has decided to stay anonymous, but she shared her experience with Melinda Tankard Reist, a friend who is an author with a large social media following.

Melinda shared the mommy-shaming note on her own Facebook page, where it quickly racked up more than a thousand likes and hundreds of comments.

The note read: “Your child has ‘chocolate slice’ from the Red Food category today. Please choose healthier options for Kindy.”

It came written in bright red ink, and it was stamped with a giant frowny face. In Australia, the public school system encourages parents to pack healthy lunches by categorizing different types of foods as green (good), yellow (OK), and red (bad.)

While we like the idea in theory, it seems a bit over-the-top to send such an obviously shaming and condescending note home because of one treat packed in the lunch box.

Melinda feels similarly, posting her own thoughts on the matter alongside the note.

She wrote:”My friend (mother of 8 healthy children, what follows relating to no. 7) received this today from her 3 year old’s kindy. I told her to put in two slices tomorrow and tell them to get lost.”

In a statement to LittleThings, Melinda also noted that both of the little girl’s parents have health science degrees and take healthy eating very seriously.

In fact, they rarely send anything unhealthy in with their kiddos, but they also understand the value of an occasional special treat.

Melinda dded, “The slice was homemade for her brother’s birthday and as per family tradition, leftovers went to school the next day.”

In fact, they discovered that homemade cake doesn’t even violate the school system rules, which specifically ban processed, packaged cakes.

The bigger problem with the note wasn’t that it asked them not to send cake in with school lunch. After all, we all know cake isn’t an everyday snack, it’s a special-occasion dessert!

We imagine that Mom probably wouldn’t have minded the school reaching out in a kind way and saying, “We know this was a special occasion, but please don’t make a habit of sending in sugary treats.” That’s a reasonable request.

Instead, the message was sent home with the 3-year-old child in the form of rude, impersonal, and patronizing note to the parents.

Melinda said that notes like this are probably the result of harried teachers trying to check an item off the list as quickly as possible. However, the writer is worried that it sends the wrong message.

Not only are Mom and Dad being shamed for how they choose to feed their children, the little kids might see that big red frowny face and start to develop an unhealthy sense of some foods being “bad” and other foods being “good” without understanding that it’s OK to eat special desserts and treats in moderation.

What do you think of this teacher’s approach to a “bad” food? Let us know in the comments, and don’t forget to SHARE this story with parents everywhere!

Fans In Stands Disgusted When They Realized What Girl Was Doing To Herself (Video)

A Louisiana State University student was carried out of a football game by police after she allegedly vomited on people in the stands (video below).

Police were called to the LSU stadium after a complaint was made against 20-year-old Renuka Koritala, WAFB reports.

She tried to run away from the officers, and kicked one of them in his right knee, causing him to fall.

Emily Dupre, a psychology major at LSU, recorded the altercation between Koritala and police, and then posted it to Twitter with the caption, “Schemed too hard.”

The video shows Koritala, dressed in a white midriff tank and skirt, struggling against officers in the stands. She appears to yell, “you’re choking me,” during the altercation.

The three male and one female officer are trying to remove Koritala as she fights against them; to the point that they have to pick her up by her arms and legs and carry her down the stadium’s steps.

The crowd cheers as she is taken away.

Dupre responded to questions about the video on Twitter. She said that Koritala did not vomit on her, but that she and a cop did fall on her and someone else during the incident.

“She was throwing up everywhere and threatening to fight so they went get the cops and she resisted,” Dupre explained to another Twitter user.

When Koritala was out of the stands, she reportedly managed to free her leg and kicked the same officer again, according to WAFB.

When police searched her, a clear medicine bottle was found with what was believed to be marijuana inside, and a smoking pipe.

Koritala was charged with possession of marijuana, resisting an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Roommate Records What Happens To Woman Who Just Shot Herself Up With Heroin (Video)

A woman was caught on video losing her mind after allegedly doing heroin (video below).

In the disturbing clip, the woman can be seen convulsing and squirming around on the ground and making strange noises.

The man filming her frequently tries to get her to stand up and go to bed, but she is seemingly in a trance and unable to respond.

The woman continuously flails her arms and legs while on the ground, screaming violently and not calming down for even a moment.

The disturbing clip quickly went viral, though many speculated that there was more going on than just a reaction to heroin.

“That DID NOT happen from heroin. And if I saw that, I would be calling an ambulance and he kept saying to get in bed??

I think there’s more to this… but it’s NOT heroin!!!” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

Others criticized the man filming for not calling for help.

“Call 911- obviously he knew she had drug habit and chose to video instead of getting help,” one viewer commented.

“He should have called 911!” another added.

Heroin addiction is a major epidemic in many parts of the U.S. According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, deaths due to heroin overdoses have sharply and consistently risen from approximately 3,000 in 2010 to almost 14,000 in 2015.

“I overdosed a lot of times,” 27-year-old Jessica McNamara told WABC. “Maybe like eight times that I went to the hospital.”

The county has allocated $685,000 seized from drug raids and criminals and put it towards treatment for addicts.

“They will go to the emergency room, take these people into their facilities for up to six weeks, seven weeks, however long it takes to find a long-term program to put them in,” District Attorney Madeline Singas said.

Customer’s Encounter With Burger King Employee Goes Viral (Video)

A Burger King employee was caught on camera flipping out when a customer confronted her about getting a refund on her milkshake (video below).

In a clip posted to YouTube, the customer can be heard asking the employee for a refund because her milkshake was nothing more than soft serve ice cream.

“Excuse me, ma’am, who is the manager? Can I please speak to the manager?” the customer asks.

“You’re about to get it!” the employee fires back after cursing at the customer.

“You’re cursing, are you serious? You cannot treat people like this. This is your job!” the customer replies. “Are you for real?”

“No, I’m fake,” the employee responds sarcastically.

“You are so rude,” the customer says.“I don’t give a f**k,” the employee says before noticing the woman filming their encounter. She then leaves the counter and confronts the customer directly in front of her face.

  • “Take my picture!” she screams.

“I’m making sure that I’m going to be safe whenever I walk out of here,” the customer says. “This place is getting shut down. I will do whatever I can.”

“You took my picture for real? B**ch you want to get slapped?” the employee yells before the video ends.

The shocking clip went viral, with many applauding the customer for filming and shaming the employee for acting the way she did.

“I hope she called the cops. And pressed charges. This lady is a mental case. How dare she talk like that swear and treat customers in that way.

That is her job. Manager came out and did nothing. She needs fired immediately. She doesn’t deserve a job,” one Newsiosity reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

“I would like to voice my opinion on this right or wrong. Anyone that works in retail regardless if it is Burger King or McDonalds or any other establishment they are not low rate jobs.

Each individual chooses there path of what they enjoy doing in life . It is very obvious this employee Does not like her job or has the talent of customer service.

I would pretty much bet during the hiring process references were not checked and the interview process was not done properly,” another added.

“This employee should be terminated on the spot ; law officer called and I would be setting up an appointment with a attorney to file suit against Burger King.

Very sad individuals do not take pride in there profession. However we as parents do not put enough effort in teaching work ethics morals and values anymore.

This video will hurt this young lady from opportunities long term in her career. I hope she sees her actions were not tasteful at all.”

Boy Dies Weighing Only 15 Lbs, Police Make Another Shocking Discovery About Him

Four adults from Indiana have been arrested over the death of a 9-year-old boy with cerebral palsy who had been severely neglected and malnourished.

On Feb. 21, the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office responded to a 911 call about a boy in cardiac arrest at a Fontanet home.

The child, Cameron Hoopingarner, was taken to the local Union hospital, where he was declared dead, The Associated Press reports.

Calling the discovery “beyond terrible,” Sheriff Greg Ewing said Hoopingarner was blind, severely malnourished and weighed less than 15 pounds.

As a result, sheriff’s officials and state police arrested the four adult co-inhabitants of the home, including Cameron’s two guardians.

According to My Wabash Valley, Hubert and Robin Kraemer were the designated guardians of the child and had been raising him since he was 3 days old.

Chad Kraemer and Sarah Travioli also lived in the residence with their two children, ages 3 and 5.

The minors have since been removed from the home and are in the custody of child protective services.

The biological parents of the victim have been informed of the circumstances of their boy’s death.

Officials state they will not be delivering a statement about their reactions to the mistreatment and death of the 9-year-old.

According to details released about the case Feb. 22 at a Vigo County Sheriff’s Department press conference, Ewing stated all four adults were charged with child neglect resulting in death. Kraemer and Travioli were additionally charged with failure to report child neglect.

“It makes me mad, makes me mad that somebody could do this to a child, let alone a child that has physical handicaps and was blind … was given to a guardian to take care of.

And this is how he gets treated? This is what he deserves? To be starved to death? What kind of animals are they?” Ewing stated, WTHI-TV reports.

He further said the pictures taken of the home scene reminded him of those taken of prisoners in the Auschwitz concentration camp during World War II.

The four adults remain in the Vigo County jail and are under a $250,000 bond. They are set to face charges on Feb. 24 in a local court.

Authorities Find Unexpected Surprise In Woman’s Canned Peaches, Issue Warning To Others

Police apprehended a woman last week after she allegedly hid 1,000 doses of meth inside of a fake can of peaches.

Police initially pulled Lorrie Dianne Klein, 46, over in Forsyth, Georgia, for a cracked windshield and not staying in the same lane, Forsyth News reports.

Upon investigating the vehicle, they discovered 98 grams of meth as well 10 grams of marijuana. They also found “multiple drug-related objects and $519 in U.S. currency.”

Klein reportedly later admitted she intended to sell the drugs.

The woman now faces a combination of drug-related and traffic charges. She is currently being held in jail without bail.

This is not the first time police have busted somebody for drug possession in unusual circumstances.

Texas police posted a joke on Facebook in March that actually led to a drug-related arrest, New York Daily News reports.

“If you have recently purchased meth or heroin in Central Texas, please take it to the local police or sheriff department so it can be screened with a special device,” said the post.

“DO NOT use it until it has been properly checked for possible Ebola contamination! Contact any Granite Shoals PD officer for testing.”

While most saw the joke in it, Chasity Hopson, 29, took it seriously. She presented her methamphetamine for an Ebola inspection to the police officers and promptly was arrested.

“Please continue to report any possibly tainted methamphetamine or other narcotics to the Granite Shoals Police Department.

Public health and safety continue to remain our #1 priority. #notkidding,” the department later continued to joke.

Authorities explain they were trying to improve public perception of police officers.

“The current atmosphere in this country, at least according to the news media, is anti-police,” Sgt. Chris Decker wrote.

“This career can eat your soul. Law enforcement continually ranks as the profession with the highest rate of suicide, divorce, and substance abuse.”

Yet some took issue with what they deemed the “unprofessional” post, like a former deputy sheriff who posted about her upset online. She said while she got the joke, it was insensitive.

“But maybe that’s because that 1% of us that didn’t find it humorous are part of that club that no one wants or should belong to. The families of addicts,” she wrote.

Mother Outraged At Daughter’s ‘Racist’ Birthday Cake (Photo)

A Cleveland, Ohio, grandmother was shocked to discover a racial slur written on her granddaughter’s birthday cake.

Ronell Tucker said she ordered two cakes over the phone from a local supermarket, and one was delivered as it was ordered.

The second cake, however, misspelled the name of her 6-year-old granddaughter. Instead of LaMiya, it read “LaNiga.”

“I was very upset and angry and it felt like racism to me cause how do you get one cake wrong and one cake right. You had to notice the mistake,” the girl’s mother, Ashley Hayes, said.

“That was not right at all and it really upset a lot of people at her party and her,” Tucker added.

LaMiya’s mother said she noticed the slur as she was taking pictures at the party.

“All the other kids knew the words and they were like ooh they put that on her cake,” she said.

“We were all in shock.”The family quickly called the store to inform them of the mistake, but things allegedly got worse.

“It’s no mistake with a ‘M’ and a ‘N’ and a ‘G’ and a ‘Y.’  It’s no mistaking. It really upset me,” Hayes said.

The manager of Dave’s Super Market, Burt Saltzman, said the spelling was an honest mistake.

“If you look at this ‘M’ could have been an ‘N’ and the ‘Y’ could have been a ‘N.’  The girl had a bunch of cakes that day,” he said.

Saltzman apologized to the family, admitting that the manager who initially handled the complaint “could have handled it in a better manner.” LaMiya’s family said they’re satisfied with how the situation turned out.

Dad’s Post About Difference Between His Shopping Cart And That Of Person Next To Him Goes Viral

A man’s Facebook post comparing the contents of his shopping cart to those of a person using an EBT card is going viral.

Patrick Gibson shared a photo on Facebook which shows the differences between his grocery purchase and the purchase of a person paying with food stamps,

which he said included “such items like steak and some other very nice choices of food,” while he was purchasing fruit and diapers for his children.

Gibson wrote in his post:

Sorry but I had to vent. The picture you see on the left is the amount of groceries including diapers that I was able to afford this pay period for my family.

( wife, son, daughter,my self ) which was paid in cash since I actually work hard for a living. The picture on the right is of the purchase in front of me in line.

If you can’t tell in the picture there are 2 full buggies of groceries including such items like steak and some other very nice choices of food. Here’s the kicker.

This purchase was made in food stamps. Which I wouldn’t have a problem with if I didn’t see the person move their big fold of cash out of the way to get to the ebt card and then load them into the back of a brand new Hyundai Genesis.

That is about 15k-20k more than my car. I just thought I would take the time to tell this person/family that you are very welcome from all of us hard working/ struggling to buy food Americans that have to foot the bill for your fancy steak feast

while I skip breakfast and lunch every day that way my wife and children have food to eat everyday, because $50-$75 dollars doesn’t go very far. So you enjoy your $800 free grocery purchase.

  • The post quickly went viral and to date, has been shared over 145,000 times.
  • Gibson’s statement has received mixed reactions in the comments.
  • Some supported the message of the post and feel that food stamps are abused.

“I agree, why should people that refuse to work live better than the honest people that break our backs and come home exhausted every day,”

one user commented on the Western Journalism Facebook page. “This crap needs to stop, if you don’t contribute to society you shouldn’t get to eat.”

Others felt Gibson’s post was unfair, however.

“Shame on you for lumping so many other hardworking families in with one person who has chosen to abuse the system,” another user wrote.

“Not everyone on welfare should have to face your disdain and hatred because of the few who manage to hit the spotlight for their wrongness.”

After Secret Service Arrives, Reporter Stunned By How Trump Handles Bus Boy

Many were shocked to see what President Trump did after eating at a steakhouse in his Washington, D.C., Trump Hotel.

President Donald Trump made reservations for a private dinner at the BLT Steakhouse in his Trump Hotel in Washington, D.C., and did so without inviting any of the press.

However, after a source revealed this information to the Independent Journal Review’s Benny Johnson, he quickly made his own reservations to see what he could learn from the dinner.

After Johnson arrived at the steakhouse at around 6 p.m., he watched Secret Service search the area and make sure everything was clear for the president’s arrival.

Finally, after more than two hours, the president arrived.

Trump ate dinner with a group of guests, including Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and the UK’s Nigel Farage. Johnson reports that Trump picked up the tab for the whole table, but what happened next surprised many.

At the end of the dinner, Trump walked over to the busboy who took care of the table and slipped something into his hand – a $100 bill.

According to Mad World News, Trump then took some time to talk to other guests at the restaurant, sign autographs, and take pictures. A chant of “USA” even reportedly broke out at one point while President Trump left the building.

A waiter provided more details about Trump’s meal to the Independent Journal Review.

“The President ordered a well-done steak. An aged New York strip. He ate it with catsup as he always does,” the waiter, who wishes to remain anonymous, revealed.

“The sides and appetizers on the table were shared. Three jumbo shrimp cocktails were delivered before the meal.

At one point, the President looked at his watch and remarked, ‘They are filming Saturday Night Live right now.

Can’t wait to see what they are gonna do to me this week.’ It was hard to serve him because he is so funny and relaxes, makes you laugh.”

Johnson says that he spoke to Nigel Farage at the end of the dinner and asked what it is like to have the President of the United States take you out to dinner.

“Well it’s really quite wonderful,” Farage replied. ‘But as I’ve gotten to know Donald, it really just does not surprise me. You know what amazes me about your President?

He is a regular bloke. Truly. Just a normal chap. Upstairs at dinner, he spoke to the table like any regular guy out to dine with friends and family. There is no pretension at all.”

Protesters Demanding $15 Minimum Wage Walk Into Store, Stunned By What’s Waiting For

While many fast food workers nationwide continue the fight for a $15-an hour minimum wage, Wendy’s has begun installing self-order kiosks in stores, with the intention to bring them to more locations in the near future.

According to Fusion, Wendy’s accounted plans in 2016 to begin installing self-service kiosks in their restaurants “because of growing labor costs associated [with] rising minimum wages.

California and New York are both raising minimum wages to $15 per hour over the next several years.”

Now, as the Columbus Dispatch reports, the fast-food chain has begun installing kiosks in a handful of restaurants in central Ohio.

The company reportedly plans to install the machines in 1,000 of its stores by the end of 2017.

“There is a huge amount of pull from (franchises) in order to get them,” Wendy’s chief information officer, David Trimm, said during the company’s investors’ day.

“With the demand we are seeing… we can absolutely see our way to having 1,000 or more restaraunts live with kiosks by the end of the year.”

According to the Columbus Dispatch, each store will typically receive three kiosks for roughly $15,000. Trimm says that the kiosks will pay for themselves in less than two years, due to savings on labor and increased sales.

“They are looking to improve their automation and their labor costs, and this is a good way to do it,” said Darren Tristano,

Vice President of food-service research and consulting firm, Technomic. “They are also trying to enhance the customer experience. Younger customers prefer to use a kiosk.”

Franchises will not be required to install kiosks in their store, but the option will soon be available for them.

The kiosks are not expected to replace labor entirely, but will rather shift labor into other areas. The company hopes that the kiosks will help balance rising wages as workers continue the Fight For $15.

“Last year was tough – 5 percent wage inflation,” said Bob Wright, Wendy’s chief operating officer, in a presentation for investors.

“But the real question is what are we doing about it?” Wright added that the company expects wages to rise another 4 percent in 2017.

Wendy’s hopes that the addition of the kiosks will put the company ahead of the curve for the implementation of technology in food service.

The company also says that an added benefit of the kiosks is higher order accuracy, as well as the ability to collect data.

“They are always courteous,” Bob WElcher, president of Restuarant Consultants Inc., said of kiosks. “They always show up for work on time.”

Grandma Who Didn’t Order Pizza Gets Random Delivery, Looks At Receipt, Gets Big Surprise

A Nebraska man ordered a pizza for his grandmother in Florida to check if she was OK after Hurricane Matthew.

Eric Olsen had last spoken to his 87-year-old grandmother, Claire Olsen, on Oct. 7, ABC News reported. She lives alone in Palm Coast, Florida.

“Well, I talked to her on Friday morning, and she had just lost power, and she said, ‘This is a nightmare,’ and then we didn’t hear from her for two days,” Eric told ABC News today.

“I was calling the police department, I was calling the sheriff’s department, and no one was answering, so I was really worried.”

Eric said that with him living in Nebraska, his father in South Dakota and his sister in Los Angeles, he didn’t have anyone who could check up on his grandmother, Little Things reported.

  • With few options available, Eric came up with a creative idea.

“So I just said, ‘I’m going to order her a pizza, and if they can deliver it, then I know she’s alive,'” Eric explained.

Eric wrote special instructions for the pizza order. He asked the delivery driver to call him when the pizza was delivered, and to put his grandmother on the phone.

The delivery driver, Lance Tyler, said Claire told him she didn’t order any pizza. That’s when Tyler told her the pizza was from her grandson and gave him a call.

“Her expression was just priceless,” Tyler told WFTV, adding that helping Claire and her family “was better than any tip he has ever received.”

When Eric heard his grandmother’s voice, he said he felt “absolute relief.”

“Police and fire couldn’t do it, but Papa John’s got there in 30 minutes and put the cellphone to her ear,” Eric said jokingly.

Eric said he came up with the idea spontaneously.

“I was just thinking, ‘Who can go there right now? Who can I call in a city where I know no one?'” he explained.

“People are asking why I didn’t call the police and ask them to do a wellness check, but I did. Trust me, Papa John’s was a last resort.”

Claire told WFTV the pepperoni pizza was “fantastic.”

Police Make Shocking Discovery In Bush While Searching For Missing Boy (Photos)

A 2-year-old Oregon boy who went missing has been found alive.

River Schomaker was reported missing on Feb. 18, when his mother checked his room at 6 a.m. and discovered that he was not there, the Daily Mail reports.

A massive hanhunt was launched involving local police, a canine unit, FBI agents and about 50 volunteers.

Six hours later, River was found by handler Becky Irving and her dog, Ava, only two blocks from home in a blackberry bush.

He was cold and shaking, according to Portland Police Sgt. Jeff Helfrich. “He was very distraught during the ordeal,” he explained.

“It brought a tear to my eye because he was alive, we found him, that’s a very big deal to find a child alive like that, because the [longer] these [hunts] go on, the more things can take different turns.”

The reaction of River’s mother, Hollian Markusen, was captured by Oregon Live. “I’m pretty beside myself. … My son was lost. My beautiful, 2-year-old boy who’ve I’ve never been away from for more than a couple of hours his entire life.”

The father, Aaron Schomaker, expressed his gratitude to the volunteers and law enforcement personnel who helped rescue his son.

A professional bartender, he explained that he arrived home at 5 a.m., and was awakened an hour later by his wife’s screams, after she realized that their son was missing.

Aaron believes that River wandered out through a ground-floor door, which is what police also suspect.

“This is a great reminder for all parents,” said Sgt. Helfrich. “Make sure you have child safety locks on your doors and if you have adventurous kids, make sure you take care of those.”

Upon being found in the bushes, River was immediately taken to the hospital where he was treated for exposure and minor scratches.

According to police, the Oregon Department of Human Services has been notified as a matter of procedure, but no charges have been brought against the boy’s parents.

Customer Notices 7-Year-Old Cleaning Tables, Her Heart Sinks When She Hears Why

The story of a Bicknell, Indiana, boy went viral after he got a job at McDonald’s for a shocking and heartwarming reason (video below).

Trenton Gardner said he loves his job cleaning tables at the fast-food restaurant. The 7-year-old wanted desperately to get a job so he could earn some money, and was determined to convince management to let him help.

“You see, when I wipe tables and customers are at the tables, I get paid for it,” he told WPXI. “It’s the coolest job I’ve ever done.”

General Manager Rhonda Butler said that Gardner was incredibly determined, despite the fact that he was initially turned down because of his age.

“He asked for a job and they told him he was too young, and he burst into tears because he was so upset,” Butler said.

Eventually, Gardner got the job as an honorary employee. Complete with a hat and apron, he was brought on to clean tables and assist the staff.

Eventually, the staff found out that he wasn’t trying to keep the money he made for himself — he was raising money to buy toys for children in his community.

“If he’s willing to do this so hard at 7, I can only imagine what he’s going to be like when he gets older,” his mother, Lindsey Gardner, said.

The story quickly went viral, with many applauding the boy’s selflessness.

“It was so wonderful reading a story about this young boy. Congratulations to these parents! He is an example of what is ‘Right’ with our Country today.

There are so many young people doing good things for others, out of the goodness of their hearts. These great young people are our Future Leaders.

Thank You Trenton! Have a Very Merry Christmas and God Bless You!” one Mad World News reader commented on the site’s Facebook page.

“This is one fine young man. His parents did an awesome job. We should remember his name, he’s going to grow up to be a great man,” another added.

School Tells Lunch Lady She Has To Take Food From Poor Students, So She Takes Action

A Pennsylvania middle school employee is taking a stand for the kids as she quits her job in disgust over school policies.

The cafeteria worker quit after being given a new school board policy regarding children who were delinquent with their lunch accounts.

Stacy Koltiska resigned from her job as a cafeteria worker at Wylandville Elementary School after the Canon-McMillan School District enacted a new policy regarding delinquent lunch accounts.

According to the policy “After overdrawing the cafeteria account by twenty-five dollars, students in grade K-6 will be able to charge an alternate lunch which will consist of a sandwich, a fruit/vegetable serving and milk. Students in grades 7-12 will not be allowed to charge any additional lunches.”

Speaking with a local news station, Koltiska said “They get one slice of cheese between two cold pieces of bread, not even toasted. What am I supposed to do?

Take their hot tray, remove the food, put down the cheese sandwich and throw it away? And the food director said, ‘Well, don’t let them see you throw it away.’”

Her discontent with the policy came to a head when she was required to seize one young student’s lunch.

“He was like, ‘Oh chicken,’ and his eyes welled up with tears and it was so heartbreaking and I’ll never forget it,” Koltiska said.

She is also mad that they are still charging students for hot lunches when the kids are only receiving cold sandwiches.

The former School employee has taken her concerns to social media, posting about the problem on her Facebook page.

“These people pass these laws and regulations, but we are the ones taking that food from that child, not you. You make your policies, but we have to enforce them,” she said.

The Canon-McMillan School board has responded, also on Facebook, by issuing the following statement:

“The purpose of Policy 808.1 is to resolve what has become a statewide issue at our local level. It is to address accountability for deficit lunch accounts accrued by families with the ability to pay for their child’s school meals.”

People have taken to social media to share their thoughts on this case, saying things like:

“My aunt works as a lunch lady and she says it’s appalling how much food goes to waste and the school system forces them to throw unused food away when she feels it could go to much better use feeding the homeless or kids who don’t have money to pay for lunch.”- Insanity Rises

“We pay for public schools with taxes, so why aren’t lunches included? I never did understand this simple concept.

Each kid has a student ID now. Just punch in that ID once a day to purchase your basic meal. Snacks and things still cost money if you want. problem solved for literally everyone.”- Duo1666

“I grew up going to schools that provided good food regardless of payment, and hearing the cold lunch you get if you can’t get a hot lunch is just…ugh. Bread and cheese? Really?

They couldn’t be bothered to even add a slice of generic sandwich meat? What of the people allergic to dairy food but can’t afford a hot lunch? All they’d get is two pieces of bread. That’s just awful.

I could go to the dollar store and get microwave meals better than that. I understand a school not providing high class food due to low budgets and stuff like that, but surely even a low budget school could provide something better than bread and cheese.”- Anon.

Should schools be allowed to prevent kids from having lunch because they are behind on payment, or should lunch be free for all public students as a part of providing a healthy environment conducive to learning? Share your opinions with us here.

Ben & Jerry’s To People Offended Over New Ice Cream Flavour: Get Over It

Last month, Opposing Views told you about the Florida couple who reached out to popular ice cream brand Ben & Jerry’s complaining that their chocolate hazelnut flavor called “Hazed & Confused” had offended and concerned them.

Lianne and Brian Kowiak said last month that they stumbled upon the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream flavor and were shocked to read the label.

Their 19-year-old son Harrison tragically died during a hazing incident six years ago, so when they saw the name of the ice cream, it made them feel uncomfortable.

“I saw there was a flavor named ‘Hazed & Confused’ and I just paused and I was really upset and shocked when I saw it,” said Lianne. “When I saw this name, ‘Hazed & Confused,’ it frankly just struck a nerve with us.”

The Kowiaks immediately got in touch with Ben & Jerry’s to express that they felt the name promoted hazing and suggest that they call is something else, and initially, the ice cream company said they would look into it.

Now, however, they’ve decided to keep the name, which they saw is a reference to the movie “Dazed & Confused” with the “hazed” part referencing the ice cream’s hazelnut flavor.

“It didn’t make sense for us to change the name,” Sean Greenwood, a Ben & Jerry’s spokesman, said to Bloomberg. “We named it because it’s a pop culture reference.”

The company says that when they looked at the name, they found nothing that “condoned hazing, supported hazing, or even inferred hazing.”

Still, the Kowiaks strongly believe that the name is offensive to them and other families who have lost loved ones to hazing.

“The name minimizes and makes a complete joke of the dangerous and sometimes deadly practice that has caused physical and psychological harm to many and in the case of our dearest son, Harrison, his death,” said the Kowiaks to the NY Daily News.

Ben & Jerry’s has reportedly received 11 complaints about the “Hazed & Confused” ice cream flavor.

5-Year-Old Boy’s Interaction With Homeless Man Leaves Entire Waffle House At Loss For Words (Video)

A 5-year-old Alabama boy fed and said grace with a homeless man at a local Waffle House, bringing the entire restaurant to tears.

Josiah Duncan was at a Waffle House in Prattville, Alabama, with his mother, Ava Faulk, when he suddenly noticed a disheveled man outside the restaurant.

“We saw a man who was dirty holding a bag with his bike outside,” Faulk recounted to WBTV (video interview shown below).

Duncan began to wonder why the man was outside by himself, appearing the way he did.

  • “He’s homeless,” Faulk explained. “What does that mean?” Duncan responded.
  • “And I said, ‘Well, that means he doesn’t have a home,’” Faulk told reporters.

“Where is his house? Where is his family? Where does he keep his groceries?” the little boy began asking.

Duncan was so stunned by the man’s situation that he begged his mother to buy him a meal. She listened, and invited ghe man inside the restaurant to eat.

“He came in and sat down, and nobody really waited on him,” Faulk said. “So Josiah jumped up and asked him if he needed a menu because you can’t order without one.”

According to Faulk, the man originally just asked for a cheap hamburger, but she quickly insisted that he get whatever he wanted.

He then asked if he could have bacon. “And I told him get as much bacon you want,” she said.

When the man got his food, Duncan said he wanted to do something special with him before he took the first bite.

  • “I wanted to say the blessing with him,” Duncan said.
  • “The man cried. I cried. Everybody cried,” Faulk said.

“You never know who the angel on Earth is, and when the opportunity comes you should never walk away from it,” she added.

“Watching my son touch the 11 people in that Waffle House tonight will be forever one of the greatest accomplishments as a parent I’ll ever get to witness.”

Here’s The Tattoo That Got This Employee Fired (Photo)

One man says a tattoo of the word “ISIS” got him fired from his job as a tool demonstrator at Home Depot, but the meaning behind it has nothing to do with the terrorist organization.

According to reports, Kirk Soccorso, a tool demonstrator at a local Home Depot, showed off a tattoo to a coworker.

Soccorso says he had previously gotten the tattoo for his ex-girlfriend, whose name is Isis, after she suggested they tattoo each other’s names.

“I honestly didn’t know what the acronym meant until just recently … I was just making conversation,” Soccorso said. “I overheard the world. I didn’t realize.”

Soccorso says that once his company found out about the tattoo, they told him not to return to work.

Now, Soccorso is speaking out, saying that his firing was unfair, and the employee is also planning to file a lawsuit. Home Depot, however, reportedly claims that the firing was not solely based on the ISIS tattoo.

Diabetic Man’s Trip To McDonald’s Doesn’t Go As Planned

A diabetic man, who feared he was about to go into a coma, was reportedly turned away when he tried to order a burger at local McDonald’s.

Matt Brown, a 38-year-old teacher from Coventry, England, had approached the McDonald’s drive-thru on foot after he began to feel ill while walking home from his mother’s house.

“I decided to head for the McDonalds on my route to get my sugar level back safe,” Brown said. “I usually carry Lucozade for emergencies but had run out.”

Brown asked the server for a burger so he wouldn’t collapse from a hypoglycemic attack, and the drive-thru staff reportedly refused to serve him because he wasn’t in a car.

He then begged the manager to call an ambulance, who said it wasn’t their problem. According to Brown, he was “left slumped outside” for over an hour. “I just needed some help and goodwill,” Brown said.

A McDonald’s spokesperson responded to the incident, saying that Brown had asked the manager to call him a taxi, not an ambulance.

The spokesperson also maintained that their initial refusal was simply a matter of policy.

“For safety, we cannot serve people on foot in our drive-thrus.”

After Finding Out A Common Food Is Processed In China, Will You Buy It Again?

The label “Made In China” is so ubiquitous in the U.S., that we expect to see it on the majority of goods in our homes.

However, one place you may not expect to see it is on foods you eat every day.

This list of “10 Common Foods You Had No Idea Come From China” comes from TheHeartySoul, and it might just surprise you.

Tilapia is commonly fish-farmed in China. These fish are some of the worst, most toxic and unhealthy fish that you can come across.

A tilapia fish will eat anything, comparable to a bottom-feeder fish and fish farming is a small pool of wastewater that the fish live in.

It’s one of the worst fish purchases you could buy and it’s commonly known that in China the seafood farmers won’t even let their

children eat the seafood that they farm, that should tell you something. 80% of the Tilapia in America comes from China. Cod Fish:

Cod is another type of fish that is fish farmed in China. This fish is not healthy and lives in its own waste. Currently, just over 50% of American Cod comes from China.

3. Chinese Apple Juice:

Believe it or not approximately 50% of the apple juice sold in the United States comes from China.

China is the LARGEST pesticide producing country in the world and they haven’t even begun to address pesticide or chemical residue on foods.

Toddler is Convinced His Mom Served Him Poop On A Roll For Dinner. You Have To Watch [video]

While toddlers have a way of testing our patience and causing a seen in public places, they also provide us with a steady flow of laughter.

This is mostly due to their honest humor and ability to say the things that most people think but are too reserved or scared to say.

When it comes to dinnertime, toddlers can be particularly challenging because they are set in their ways and often don’t like to open up to testing out new foods. Put yourself in their shoes for a day…you sit down for a meal and get a completely foreign object placed in front of you.

It has different smells, textures and shapes. Do you blame them for not being so open to trying out these strange food items right away?

One toddler has the world laughing as he refuses to eat a sloppy Joe. Most of the times a toddler doesn’t really have a reasoning for denying a food, but this little guy does.

“It’s poop,” he says, as he fiddles with the meat sandwich. And he isn’t letting up when his mother assures him that it’s not poop and it is a sloppy Joe. Her words are not enough to convince him that it’s not poop.

The video starts out with the little boy removing the bread from the sandwich. As he is scanning the meant, the look that he has on his face is priceless.

He simply says, “Poop.” You can hear his siblings repeatedly telling him that it’s not poop, but he is still not convinced. And it may not be the fact that he is saying poop over and over again, but it is the way the determined little boy says it.

As he continues to remove the bread and the meat off of his plate and onto the table, he shows some hesitance in touching the meat.

Once the meal is said aside, he throws his arm forward and lets out a loud screech, “IT’S POOP!”

As his mama continues to get him to take one bite, he refuses, but proceeds to eat the chips that are on the plate. This little boy is so determined that he even has viewers convinced that it’s poop…

“I mean, I think I’m convinced its poop at this point.”

Heinz Wants Disgusting Video From Inside Factory Deleted. See It Before It’s Taken Down

When video footage from a ketchup plant outside Cairo, Egypt went viral, Heinz quickly launched a PR campaign to cover their tracks.

In the clip, footage demonstrates that rotten tomatoes are used at the plant to manufacture the world’s most popular ketchup brand.

In the short clip which is circulating the globe as you read this, one man stands on top an open box of tomato as he hurls the rotten food into the processing line.

Now that the clip has gone viral, the food giant announced that they are “100 percent committed to quality”.

Meanwhile the video evidence seems to indicate that the quality on the Heinz production line seems to be “completely misleading and inaccurate.”

Scroll down to learn what Heinz is really using as their ingredients in ketchup…

After reviewing the footage, Heinz Egypt did not deny that the footage was filmed at their location. But the firm did claim that the “edited” video portrayed an “unreal picture.” But watch the clip and be the judge for yourself.

Heinz tried to get out in front of this public relations disaster by releasing a statement. But now consumers in American and around the world are questioning whether Heinz can be trusted to provide quality food.

It said in a statement: “The edited footage shows an unreal picture and neglects the processing stages, hence gives the wrong impression. t is important for everyone to know that we use only healthy tomatoes, all of which are processed using industry-best standards.

As always, we remain 100 percent committed to the cleanliness and quality of our tomatoes and the safety of our consumers.”

Customers in Egypt are furious. They claim that Heinz did not dispel their fears. Now they cannot trust the ketchup brand.

Heinz has been challenged to create their own video demonstrating how the famous condiment is created.

Michelle Obama’s Healthy School Lunch Act Under Threat

Former First Lady Michelle Obama’s healthy school lunch program could be under threat of being rolled back, thanks to the President Donald Trump administration and a fully Republican Congress.

Fox News reports that former Obama championed the healthy school lunch program, which made its way into law as the Healthy Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010.

The legislation stipulates in part that children are entitled to at least one fruit and vegetable for any meal that is subsidized by the federal government.

However, the office of North Carolina Rep. Mark Meadows has called for repealing certain aspects of the law — namely 200 rules and regulations imposed by the Act.

“The regulations have proven to be burdensome and unworkable for schools to implement,” reads a report from the House Freedom Caucus, of which Meadows is a member.

“Schools are throwing food away that students are not eating.”

A 2015 report published by researchers at the University of Vermont found that “children consumed fewer [fruits and vegetables] and wasted more during the school year immediately following implementation of the USDA rule.”

Since the law’s implementation, many school officials and parents have complained of an excess in food waste, as children throw away the undesired fruits and vegetables they are forced to accept as part of their school lunches.

In addition, many school systems have dropped out of the federal lunch program due to rising compliance costs after the law stipulated restrictions on calories, sugar and sodium counts.

Restaurant Owner Who Banned Anyone Who Voted For Trump, Gets Exactly What He Deserved

In Honolulu, Hawaii, Trump voters are apparently not welcomed. One café owner has decided to ban everyone who voted for President-elect Trump.

Because the establishment hates Republicans and “Real Americans”, those not welcomed into their uppity café found a clever way to make them feel the burn.

The café quickly saw their ratings on Facebook and Yelp drop faster than a set of dominoes or a Jenga tower built by a three-year-old.

Everything began when the owners of the 8 ½ Café proudly taped up a handmade sign on their restaurant that read, “If you voted for Trump you can not eat here!”

But the sign wasn’t finished. It closed the message with “No Nazis.” Trump supports in Hawaii and across the country quickly came out to demolish the café’s reputation online…

Nazism was built “on a platform of discrimination, exclusionary politics, and demonization of political opponents,” the Conservative Tribune reports.

The sign is very weak. It was handwritten on a piece of yellow paper. It very likely could have been a prank pulled to give the café publicity. Whatever its intention, the sign has since forced the café to nearly shut its doors.

When this story went viral (and more Trump supporters are seeing it every day), the restaurant’s online ratings have plummeted. The café’s Facebook page gives it just a 1.9 rating and Yelp has it listed at just 2/5 stars – abysmal!

Trump supports all rated the establishment as low as possible – here’s why!

“I voted for Trump and will do it again in 4 years, no skin off my nose as my next trip to Honolulu Hawaii will not have me stopping in to eat at your place, sad hate to see people loose there lively hood but you get what is coming to you. By the way good luck with your going out of business.”

New Law Will Heavily Tax People Who Buy Soda And Other Sweetened Beverages. Is This Fair?

Conservative website The Conservative Tribune is reporting today that Philadelphia, Pennsylvania’s new tax on soft drinks has gone into effect.

The tax equals one and a half cents per fluid ounce of liquid. This tax will increase the cost of a 12 ounce can of soda by approximately sixteen cents.

The levy of this tax was designed to help fund a pre-kindergarten initiative from the Mayor’s office. It is not a sales tax stress local leaders, and beverages purchased by retailers from distributors prior to January first will not be subject to the tax.

Still, many consumers are surprised at the significant increase of soft drinks at the register.

The tax, which targets beverages containing sweeteners, will affect sodas, colas, diet drinks, lemonade and other fruit drinks, sports drinks, pre-bottled coffee and tea drinks, and “enhanced” waters.

Normal bottled water, pure juices, and dried beverage products such as tea bags and coffees will not be subject to the tax.

The tax is not a sales tax, rather a tax on the amount of sweeteners contained in the product. It equals .015 cents per ounce of drink. On a 20 ounce bottle of soda pop, the additional cost will be .30.

In speaking with the local ABC news affiliate, the the mayor’s office stressed that this is not a sales tax, but a distribution and production tax, which is not legally required to be passed on to end consumers.

“The tax is on the distribution of sweetened beverages from companies like Coca-Cola to dealers like supermarkets, and because it’s not a sales tax, distributors don’t have to pass it on to customers.”

Doctors Issue Warning About One Of America’s Most Popular Foods; If You Eat It, Stop ASAP

An experiment performed by a doctor in Massachusetts has people questioning whether they will ever eat instant noodles again.

Dr. Braden Kuo of Massachusetts General Hospital used a camera the size of a pill to find out what happens while the body digests pre-cooked noodles.

The resulting video showed that the noodles were still largely intact after two hours, according to USA Today.

As long as the noodles remain in the stomach, so do all the noodles’ additives, including toxic preservatives like tertiary-butyl hydroquinone.

TBHQ prevents oxidation of fats and oils and is a common ingredient in processed food. McDonald’s Chicken McNuggets, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, Wheat Thins and Teddy Grahams all contain TBHQ.

The Consumer’s Dictionary of Food Additives reported that 1 gram of TBHQ can cause a number of adverse effects, including nausea, vomiting, ringing in the ears, delirium and a sense of suffocation.

Prolonged exposure to TBHQ can cause biochemical changes and affect liver and reproductive function.

A 2014 study in medical periodical The Journal of Nutrition concluded that women in South Korea who ate more instant noodles were more likely to suffer from metabolic syndrome, the symptoms of which include obesity, high blood pressure, high blood sugar and low levels of HDL cholesterol, which is considered the “good” cholesterol.

Mom Shocked To Finally Learn Why Twins Look Different (Video)

When Chrissy Bernal first became pregnant in 1999, it took her doctors six months to realize that she would be having twins (video below).

One of them was so small that earlier scans didn’t even pick her up, according to Little Things. One month later, the Texas mom gave birth to premature babies at 34 weeks during a risky C-section.

Daughter Sierra came out looking healthy and normal for a premature baby, but Chrissy noticed that Sienna “Sinny” weighed little more than a pound and had a giant head and translucent skin. Chrissy thought she looked a little bit like an alien.

Nobody had any idea what was different about Sienna, but doctors said she had a 10 percent chance to live through the next few days. What’s more, she would be a “vegetable” even if she did make it.

Sienna had a hole in her heart, and chronic lung disease, according to a 2011 Fox News report.

Mom Drops Milk As Children Begin Screaming In Parking Lot, Suddenly She Notices Elderly Woman

When Kristin Sherman, a mother of two young boys in Bay’s County Township, Michigan, was leaving the grocery store on New Year’s Eve, she spilled the gallon of milk that she had bought all over the parking lot.

Sherman says that she felt “exhausted and defeated” after a difficult day.

Just as Sherman was at the end of her rope, a kind older woman approached the family, Sherman said in a Facebook post that has since gained over 13,000 likes and 2,000 shares.

“I’m so sorry you spilled your milk,” the woman told Sherman. “I’m a grandma, I know how that is. Please let me go in and get you another one.”

While the mom told her that she couldn’t accept the offer, the grandmother insisted, and told Sherman and her sons to wait outside while she went in to buy them a new gallon of milk.

“I finally agreed because I knew the boys needed their milk tonight,” she said.

Pregnant Waitress Is Absolutely Beside Herself After Reading Note Left On Receipt [video]

With her baby due next month, Sarah Clark, a waitress at a Phoenix-area restaurant has been putting in as many hours as possible to save up money for her baby. That means she’s taking overtime shifts and extra hours at the Mediterranean restaurant Pita Jungle.

When she gives birth, Clark plans to go on maternity leave. During that time, she won’t be able to make any money. Besides this struggle, her fiancé is scheduled to have knee surgery – so the medical bills only seem to be growing higher.

On Tuesday, a customer left something unexpected with a take-out receipt. Check out what happened to the pregnant waitress below…

“Me being on maternity leave and him being out of work, we’re not going to be making any income,” the server, bartender and manager told KPHO’s Derek Stahl.

But Tuesday while working hard to earn extra money for savings, a customer came in to pick up their $61.30 food order. But instead of leaving a small tip, they gave Clark $900.

Christmas came early for this mother-to-be in need!

Woman Is Handed Her Airplane Meal, Immediately Takes Photo To Have Proof Of Issue With It

How many times have you been told to stop playing with your food? Usually it is an admonition to stop shoveling it around the plate and eat it, but we just found a whole new reason for the old warning.

An unidentified flyer travelling from Sydney to Brisbane on Friday was taken aback by her dinner. Luckily, she took a picture of it before tucking into it. You are just simply not going to believe her meal.

The unidentified woman was a business class passenger aboard a Qantas airlines flight from Sydney to Brisbane.

When the flight attendant presented her dinner meal, the woman looked down and saw the most remarkably phallic vegetable she, or perhaps any of us, has ever seen.

When she asked exactly what it was, the flight attendant responded with “it’s a root vegetable.”

Heading up the culinary program for Qantas Airlines is celebrity chef Neil Perry, who has been partnering with the company since 2007, with the stated goal of elevating the in-flight dining experience.

Perry is an Australian chef, restaurateur, author and television presenter. He also is the co-ordinator for Qantas Flight Catering under his company Rockpool Consulting. He also cooks high quality Korean BBQ foods and is an expert in Asian cuisine.

Perry co-owns and is executive chef of numerous restaurants in Australia. In Sydney, he runs three restaurants located in the city’s CBD: his flagship fine-dining establishment Rockpool, modern Chinese restaurant Spice Temple, and steakhouse Rockpool Bar & Grill.

In Melbourne, there is the original incarnation of Rockpool Bar & Grill as well as the fine-dining Rosetta, which opened in late 2012.

Sushi Patrons React To Obama Visit (Video)

During President Barack Obama’s annual vacation in his home state of Hawaii, the commander in chief was greeted by a standing ovation when he and his family arrived to dine at a famous Japanese sushi restaurant (video below).

On Dec. 16, Obama arrived in Hawaii, along with his wife and two daughters, to celebrate their final vacation as America’s first family. The trip has last nearly two weeks, with Obama conducting executive business while also playing a few rounds of golf, ABC News reports.

On Dec. 27, President Obama and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe met to officiate a wreath-laying ceremony for the U.S. soldiers killed during the 1941 Pearl Harbor attack.

On Dec. 28, the president’s activities were more recreational, with him spending his morning at the gym followed by a family tour through Shangri La, a Honolulu-based center for Islamic art. That evening, the family had dinner at sushi restaurant Nobu in Honolulu.

Viral video on the scene captured patrons of the Japanese restaurant giving Obama a round of applause as he took his seat. Following routine security measures, Secret Service had to check everyone on the premises, while snipers were stationed on the restaurant’s rooftop, according to TMZ.

Subway Customer Snaps After Hearing How Employee Responded To Her Sandwich Request (Video)

A Subway customer in Canada threw a temper tantrum after employees told her they were out of meatballs. Another customer filmed (video below) as the woman berated Subway employees who informed her they were out of meatballs after she ordered a meatball sub at a Toronto location of the chain.

The woman told employees that they “should have it available all the time” after being told she could not have the Meatball Marinara sandwich she ordered.

“And yet somehow, you guys never have it available when somebody comes in to order something,” she said. “But you should have it available, that’s the f***ing problem. Why don’t you have it available?”

When one employee suggested that she order another sandwich, she replied, “It’s not what I want.”

The irate customer then told the employees that they should either take the sandwich off their menu or put up a sign to let customers know that the sandwich is not available.

Mom Breastfeeds 4-Year-Old In Coffee Shop, Then Strangers Make Their True Feelings Known

In 2014, there were some jaw-dropping magazine covers about breastfeeding older children that sparked conversations all over the world. So the popular show What Would You Do? decided to take on the controversial topic head on.

Setting up actors in a public place, along with hidden cameras, they wanted to see how people would react to moms breastfeeding children of unexpected ages.

The show started with a mom and baby, then ended with a mother breastfeeding her 4-year-old son. Everyone’s reactions were different.

An actress tried to catch people’s attention and let her negative opinion be known right away so that others would be forced to either agree or disagree on camera. However, the results might shock you.

While some people told the outspoken actress she was wrong for judging the mom and having a problem with the breastfeeding, two customers had a much different reaction to seeing a child old enough to be in school grabbing for his mother’s breast.

Restaurant Sign Sparks Outrage

A restaurant in Hawaii is facing some backlash for posting a sign banning supporters of President-elect Donald Trump.

Honolulu’s Cafe 8 ½ is known for its signature dishes, such as the “Radiatore Verde” and “Italian stir fry,” Fox News reported. But an anti-Trump sign displayed on the mom-and-pop restaurant’s front door is getting mixed reviews.

The bright yellow handmade sign reads: “If you voted for Trump you cannot eat here! No Nazis.”

Photos of the sign were shared throughout social media.

“…The next time you’re in Honolulu, eat lunch here, not only are they on the right side of things, the food is delicious and reasonable,” wrote one Facebook user.

While some people applauded the sign, others were not so amused.

“It’s childish and very unprofessional,” Susan Roberts, a Honolulu resident and avid Trump supporter, told Fox News. “… The restaurant owner doesn’t have to worry … I will not be stepping foot in that establishment.”

“I’ve eaten here twice in the past during vacations. Food has always been good, service decent,” wrote one Yelp reviewer. “But the nonsense sign is a huge turnoff. Doesn’t matter if it was saying the opposite thing (ie no Clinton supporters). It’s simply inappropriate.

Police Arrest Mom Of 6 After Seeing How Kids Were Treated – Then They Catch A Glimpse Of…

Three parents have been charged with crimes after two young children were found chained outside their Texas home with hundreds of scars. One of the women in the house, who has six children, is pregnant again.

A few weeks ago, a neighbor contacted authorities about a child who had been crying for hours, reports The Associated Press. When police arrived at the home in San Antonio, they found two children under the age of 5 in the backyard.

“There was obvious evidence that a switch had been used on the children,” said James Keith, Bexar County sheriff’s spokesman.

One child was tied to the garage door with a leash, and had been suffering from hypothermia and a broken arm, police say. Her brother was reportedly tied to the ground using a dog chain and had allegedly been left outside in the rain.

“Unfortunately, child abuse is a major problem here, and in this case we’re just glad we were able to find these children before any further harm could occur to them,” said Keith.

Cheryl Reed, mother of the two children, is in custody and facing two charges of injury to a child.

“We have confirmed with medical doctors that these children suffered hundreds of injuries, and hundreds is not an exaggeration,” Keith said, reports Reuters. “They had multiple scars, multiple bruises. Many of them were fresh, and others were old.”

7-Year-Old Gets Job At McDonald’s For Shocking Reason (Video)

Woman Snaps After Discovering Truth About All-You-Can-Eat Pancakes

A woman became enraged at a Denny’s restaurant in Chicago, when she was told her $4 all-you-can-eat pancake meal could not be shared with her friends.

The Denny’s server explained to Natasha West, 27, that the unlimited pancake menu item was only for a single diner, not everyone at the table, The Smoking Gun reports.

According to the restaurant’s online menu, “restrictions may apply” to the all-you-can-eat pancake meal. However, besides the use of “you” in the description, the menu does not seem to explicitly state that only one person can partake in the pancakes.

“We start you off with three fluffy buttermilk pancakes and then deliver them hot, two at a time, until you’ve had your fill,” the menu states.

West responded to the server by cursing and throwing several punches, all of which missed, according to the Oak Lawn Police Department. West and her friends left the restaurant without paying, but not before she repeatedly kicked a door on the way out, The Smoking Gun reports.
