Rapper Eminem let loose on President Donald Trump during the 2017 BET Awards with an insult and expletive-filled freestyle that also took aim at any of his own fans who support the president (video below).
In the clip, Eminem attacks Trump on a variety of issues including his response to violence in Charlottesville, Virginia, his response to Puerto Rico’s hurricane recovery, and his insults of Sen. John McCain during the 2016 presidential campaign.
The video was the number one trending video on YouTube Oct. 11, one day after its release.“Racism’s the only thing he’s fantastic for cause that’s how he gets his rocks off, and he’s orange,” Eminem said.
The rapper also referenced Trump’s recent feud with the NFL over players kneeling for the national anthem.
“Plus he gets an enormous reaction when he attacks the NFL so we focus on that and / instead of Puerto Rico and gun reforms for Nevada / All these horrible tragedies and he’s bored and would rather cause a Twitter storm with the Packers,” Eminem said.
Eminem also expressed support for Colin Kaepernick, the former San Francisco 49ers quarterback who started kneeling for the national anthem in 2016.
“This is for Colin / ball up a fist / and keep that s**t balled like Donald the b***h,” he said. Trump has frequently said that athletes who kneel for the national anthem are insulting the military, according to CNN.
Eminem leveled the same charge at Trump in his rap, saying that he disrespected the military by attacking McCain for being a prisoner during the Vietnam War.
