1Step 1: Cut both ends of the banana.
Have trouble getting a good night’s rest? We all do at times. With the stressors in our modern environment, it can become difficult to fall asleep, stay asleep and wake up feeling rested. Stress and electromagnetic frequencies from cell phones, computers, and other electronics play a role. Bright lights and so many other factors can effect our nervous system and sleep hormones, which ultimately influence our quality of sleep.
Many different factors, both external and internal, can influence your brain, hormones and nervous system which can offset your sleep or deprive us of quality sleep.
The easiest thing to do is to grab a sleeping pill, but is that a good solution? It may work short-term, but in the long term, you are hindering your body’s health and natural abilities.
Sleeping pills have known side effects such as dizziness, constipation, stomach pain, difficulty focusing, memory problems and harm to the central nervous system.
Sleep is extremely important, and there’s no arguing that. When you are deprived of sleep, you lose out on what your body can do to function optimally. Your cognitive thinking skills are impaired, your motor skills decline, your energy drops, and you’re at even more risk for diseases and health conditions such as obesity, diabetes and cancer.
